This page is a free random map picker for Counter-Strike 2. It draws a map from the current Active Duty pool, or from any subset of it, and is used to decide what to queue, run map-roulette practice sessions, or vary the maps a group plays. The guide below covers the pool and what distinguishes each map.
The Active Duty pool is the set of maps used in Premier and professional Counter-Strike. Valve rotates maps in and out of the pool over time; the randomizer reflects the current selection. Draw a random map for matchmaking practice, scrims, or a map-roulette challenge.
A dense jungle ruin with short sightlines and tight corners. Mid control opens paths to both bomb sites, and the heavy cover on the sites makes grenade usage and close-range spray control matter more than long-range aim.
An Egyptian city cut through by water. The three lanes connect flexibly through mid, so rotations are quick and fakes are convincing — teams that re-throw utility fast and retake well do best here.
The most iconic map in Counter-Strike and the closest thing to a pure aim duel. Long A and mid doors serve up long-range rifle and AWP fights, and the simple two-site layout means less utility choreography and more raw gunplay.
An Italian village where everything funnels into narrow chokepoints — Banana toward B and the apartments toward A. It is the most utility-hungry map in the pool: smokes, molotovs, and flashes decide whether a push lives or dies.
The long-standing community staple built around mid control. Window, connector, and the A ramp create constant skirmishes for information, and its familiar default strategies make it the classic map for practicing fundamentals.
A reactor facility with its two bomb sites stacked vertically, one above the other. Defenders rotate between sites in seconds through vents and ramps, which makes it one of the most CT-sided and least conventional maps in the pool.
A Berlin park split between an elevated A site and a B site tucked under the overpass by the canal. Verticality defines it — boosts, drops, and off-angle peeks reward map knowledge over raw aim.
Press Start and the maps in the pool bounce around the arena until one wins by reaching three wall bounces. Edit Pool removes maps that have been banned or already played, which supports series formats with no repeats, and the shared pool link lets a whole group draw from the same set. The pool and draw history are stored locally in the browser.
