Counter Strike Randomizer is a free random weapon picker for Counter-Strike 2. It selects a random gun from a pool that can be narrowed to specific picks, which suits random-loadout challenges, pistol-only runs, gun-game variants, or selecting a buy at random. Every buyable gun in CS2 belongs to a class; the list below groups the full buy menu by class.

Weapons by class

Pistols

Pistols are the cheapest weapons and the only guns available in a standard pistol round. Both teams start each half with a sidearm, and extra pistols can be bought when the economy is tight. The class ranges from inexpensive starters to high-damage options that can kill with a single headshot at close range.

SMGs

Submachine guns are inexpensive, fast-firing weapons effective at close range. They stay accurate while the player moves and award larger kill bonuses than rifles, which makes them a common pick on force-buy and anti-eco rounds.

Shotguns

Shotguns deal heavy damage at close range and are used to hold tight angles and choke points. They fall off sharply at distance, so they reward defenders who can force fights into close quarters, and like SMGs they award larger kill bonuses than rifles.

Rifles

Rifles are the automatic weapons bought most often on a full buy, balancing damage, range, and accuracy at medium to long distance. Each has a recoil pattern the player must learn and control during sustained fire, and most are restricted to one side.

Snipers

Sniper rifles are scoped, high-damage weapons built for long sightlines. The lighter bolt-action option keeps the player mobile, the iconic high-end rifle kills with a single body shot, and the automatic snipers trade accuracy for rate of fire. All reward holding angles from distance.

Heavy

Heavy weapons are the belt-fed machine guns. They carry very large magazines for suppressing chokepoints and spraying through cover, but they are expensive and unwieldy, so they show up mainly on full-buy or anti-eco rounds rather than as a primary pick.

How the weapon randomizer works

Press Start and an icon for every gun in the pool bounces around the arena; the first to hit the walls three times is the result. Each enabled weapon has an equal chance, and every spin is an independent draw. Edit Pool narrows the draw to a given rule set — pistols only, no AWP, or rifles and snipers for a full-buy roulette — and the share link passes the exact pool to the rest of the lobby. Roll history and stats are stored locally in the browser.
